- Business strategy. We advise companies which are already focused on public sector markets on the best way to develop and grow their business. We advise on current and future market conditions, areas of growth and potential “hot spots”, key policy developments and their impact, and opportunities and risks for both established and growing businesses. We develop strategies to best respond to changing market conditions covering such areas as market entry and diversification, acquisition, organisational change, operational improvement, and maximising the effectiveness of sales and business development.
- Market analysis studies and market entry strategies. We advise companies on whether and how they should enter or diversify into adjacent markets. We provide macro-market analysis of key market metrics and drivers, analysis of competitors and their positioning, and assessment of organisation readiness. We develop market entry strategies including detailed advice on product and service development, and where appropriate options for partnering and acquisition.
- Acquisition strategies. We help companies develop a rational and structured approach to acquisition by putting in place strategies which identify what they are trying to achieve and what types of acquisition they should be aiming to make. Where appropriate we also help companies find specific acquisition targets by developing company and market-focussed acquisition criteria, identifying potential acquisition targets based on those criteria, and, where appropriate, carrying out detailed analysis of shortlisted targets. We also provide similar strategies for private equity clients to support deal origination and “buy and build” approaches.
